State personnel chief quits

Print Comment
Todd Rich, state personnel director since May 2007, has quit to take an executive position with St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno.

Rich has been replaced on an interim basis, pending a search for a permanent replacement, by Shelley Blotter. The director’s job pays up to about $107,000 a year.

Rich, who was personnel director for Renown Health System in Reno and also for Comcast Cable prior to taking his state post, starts Monday as executive director of St. Mary’s Primary Care Plus Division.

Blotter, a state Personnel Department employee since 1994, has been running the agency’s Employee and Management Services Division.
