A funeral for Ruth M. Roza, 75, a Carson City resident since 1969, is at 2 p.m. Monday at Walton's Funeral Home in Carson City. Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens in Carson City.
Mrs. Roza died Aug. 22, 2001 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 25, 1925 in Lodi, Calif. to George Rubin and Ethelyn Mabel Skiff Nance. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Roza Sr. in 2000; sister Nancy Moden, and brothers George Nance and Clarence Nance.
Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Galt, Calif.
Mrs. Roza was a school bus driver for many years for the Carson City School District. She also enjoyed taking the students of Carson schools on various outings.
She was of the Baptist faith. She also enjoyed bowling, was a great cook, and took care of her friends and family when they might not have been able to do so themselves. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
Among her survivors are her daughter Carolyn Faber of Washington; step-son Frank Roza Jr. of Hawaii; sister Dorothy McClaine of Lodi and four grandchildren.
