BLACK HAWK, Colo. - The vice president of gaming operations for Black Hawk Gaming & Development Co. Inc. has resigned.

Black Hawk Gaming President Stephen Roark said Tuesday that Antone Cook resigned for personal reasons. Cook joined the company in 1996.

Black Hawk Gaming owns and runs the Gilpin Hotel Casino and owns 75 percent of The Lodge Casino at Black Hawk.

Roark said Cook's resignation won't disrupt operations in Colorado or affect the company's efforts to acquire the Gold Dust West in Reno, Nev.

The Gilpin Hotel Casino and The Lodge Casino have a combined 1,300 gambling devices.
