The Reno Jets Boxing Club will host an amateur boxing invitational tournament Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club in Reno and both the Carson City Boxing Club and Bruno's Boxing Club will send fighters to the card.
The main event features BBC fighter Santo Bruno taking on Reno Jets fighter Fernando Camacho in the 156-pound weight class.
"We'll also have Chuey Elizondo and Joe Goss on the card," said Vic Bruno, the club's director. "We have two other fighters ready to go if we can get them matched. Jose Elizondo is our teams head coach."
Seven boxers from the CCBC are expected to see action on the 16-bout fight card that begins at 1 p.m. Tickets are priced at $6 for adults and $3 for those 15 and under and are available at the door. For more information call 747-2853.
