Hug High School scored first, but Carson responded to put 45 unanswered points on the scoreboard en route to a 45-6 freshman football victory on Thursday.

Ryan Sarkissian rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries, including an 81-yard TD romp as the Senators improved their season record to 8-0.

Down 6-0, the Senators came back to take the lead on a touchdown pass from Mike Dittenber to Tsuyoshi Curtis. Ryan Williams kicked the PAT to give Carson a 7-6 lead.

Sarkissian's 81-yard run gave the Senators some breathing room and they never looked back. Dan Rotter and Dittenber ran for touchdowns and Cameron Leck returned an interception.

Jared Wulff rushed for 79 yards on nine carries to help Carson's offense and Dittenber passed for 109 yards.

Nick Shine was a standout on the defensive side of the ball, according to coach Jim Franz.

The Senators close out their season next Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. contest against a Douglas team that is unbeaten coming into its game at Wooster today.
