Northgate Lane and Emerson Drive will see the return of utility construction workers Thursday.
Carson City officials are having utility relocation contractor Contri Construction repave portions of Emerson and Northgate that were torn up by utility relocation work.
The roads won't be closed but will be controlled by flaggers.
College Parkway continues to be reduced to one lane in each direction from Highway 395 to Hot Springs Road .
College Parkway's roadbed is being modified, lowered and repaved. Work should be done in two or three weeks on the street. Because the street is in a residential area, most work will be done in the daytime.
The final layer of paving on Carson Street begins at 8 p.m. Sunday and should wrap up in two weeks as well.
Flaggers are controlling traffic on Northgate Lane, Emerson Drive and Arrowhead Drive for large truck traffic in the freeway right of way.
Delays up to 20 minutes are expected for north and southbound traffic on the 11-mile Highway 395 overlay project from Spooner Summit Junction into Douglas County. Crews are working during the peak hours on the project.
