Douglas High's Charlene Rigdon was among four recruits signed by the University of Nevada women's swim and dive team during the early signing period.
Others signing were Heather Thomas of Prescott, Ariz., Kelsey McKinney of Chico, Calif. and Liz Day of Ontario, Canada.
Rigdon qualified for the Olympic trials in the 100-meter backstroke. Thomas was a freestyle and backstroke Junior National swimmer.
McKinney is a sprint freestyle specialist. Day was a Junior National qualifier in the 100 butterfly.
"We are very excited about these four swimmers committing to our university,' Nevada Coach Mike Shrader said. "All four are quality swimmers. as well as quality people. They are all honor students, and will represent our program and university in an extremely positive way."
