RENO - Five self-avowed skinheads have pleaded guilty to bomb-related charges for the attempted firebombing of a Reno synagogue.
Carl DeAmicis, 25, Christopher Hampton, 22, Joshua Kudlacek, 18, Scott Hudson 23, and Daniel McIntosh, 19, entered their pleas Wednesday night in U.S. District Court.
The pleas before U.S. District Judge David Hagen came on the eve of jury selection for the trial of DeAmicis. Testimony in that trial was scheduled to begin Friday.
Sentencing for all was set for Oct. 30.
The five men and two juvenile girls were arrested for the Nov. 30 attempted fire-bombing of the Temple Emanu-El Jewish Synagogue in southwest Reno.
The fire bomb shattered a window but did not set the building on fire.
A grand jury indictment said the defendants were ''self-avowed 'skinheads' who advocated white supremacy and the oppression of black, Jewish and other minority persons.''
