The Galena volleyball team (13-9, 4-3 in league) rolled to a 15-4, 15-4, 15-6 win against Reed.
Kellie Burton had 15 kills, 14 digs and two blocks to lead the attack. Tammie Nettleton added nine kills, six digs and Ashley Satterwhite had four kills, three digs and three blocks.
Joanna Hixon had seven digs and served for an ace, Stacy Schieberl had four digls and served for an ace and Teresa Miller served for 10 points and had four digs.
Setter Lauren Wallace had a strong all-around match with 34 assists and tow blocks while sered for 15 points. Jen Molinari added two blocks as well for Galena.
DAYTON FALLS
Dayton took league front runner Manogue to four games before falling 9-15, 14-16, 15-6, 9-15. Manogue improved to 5-0 in league play while Dayton fell to 2-2.
Cindy Waunbaugh had nine kills, served for four points and helped set up Dayton's attack with 13 assists. Rachel Hurt had a strong service game, serving for 15 points along with nine kills.
Jennie Morphew added eight kills, Carissa Leach had six kills and served for nine points and Kayla Reese had five kills and served for nine points. In addition, Jenni Effsman served for four points and Reese helped set up the attack with 16 assists.
Dayton won the junior varsity match 15-10, 10-15, 15-6 and also won the freshmen match.
