Trick-or-treating will be Oct. 31, but the haunted houses will be going full blast in the days leading up to Halloween.
Through Oct. 31 - Carson City Jaycees annual Haunted House of Horror, 5 p.m. to midnight today-Saturday.; 2-9 p.m. Sunday; 5-11 p.m. Monday-Tuesday. Cost $5 per person, located in Frontier Plaza on North Carson Street (former Bike Brothers office space).
Oct. 28 - Oct. 31 - Carson Valley 20-30 Club Terror 2000 Haunted House, 6-10 p.m. each night (6-8:30 p.m. Saturday) at the former Gorman's Ranch Market, Tillman Shopping Center, Gardnerville Ranchos. Adults $5 ($1 off with a canned food donation), children $3. Call 782-3729.
