Letter: DMV employees seem to have lots of time

I'm wondering how the employees of the Department of Motor Vehicles can (or will) work two jobs.

Tom Tatro works there, yet he says he can take the time off to be Carson City's mayor. Commissioner Bernie Curtis in Douglas County works there also, yet takes time off to be a commissioner.

Maybe the DMV needs to fire enough employees to keep the ones working full time. Two jobs in politics seem like double dipping to me. I've seen too many state employees standing around talking, filing their nails or on the phone with a personal call. Keep all tax paid job employees busy or cut the force down.
