Regarding the letter on swim team use of the swimming pool in Carson, one of the reasons I stopped going to the Carson Valley Swim Center was that I became sick and tired of being forced out of the outdoor pool during the early evening so the swim team could practice. The public had to use the indoor pool which was not nearly as pleasant. Why couldn't the swim team use the indoor pool?
The other thing that irritated me was the public pool being closed to the public on weekends for swim team events which happened twice during the season I used the pool.
After awhile, it appeared to me that what we had was a swim team pool that the public was allowed to use instead of the other way around.
It looks like the same thing is happening in Carson.
