Floyd B. Baxter, 58, a Carson City resident for the past eight years and former Gardnerville resident, died Oct. 29, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Nebraska to James Baxter.
Mr. Baxter was an upholsterer for the Atlantis Casino in Reno.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife Terry of Carson City; sons Floyd "Butch" of Marysville/Yuba City, Calif., James of Las Vegas and Aaron of Springs Grove, Ill.; daughter Diane Sickles of Tustin, Calif. and one grandson.
No service is scheduled.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
