Marcelino Pellegrino, longtime owner of the Guitar Restaurant, died Dec. 15, 2000 at Lifecare Center of Reno.
He was born Sept. 23, 1910 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He owned the Guitar Restaurant in Carson City, South Lake Tahoe and San Francisco for more than 30 years. He was a resident of Reno for the past year after leaving Carson City and was preceded in death by his wife Maria Pellegrino in January 1990.
He is survived by his daughter Nancy Etchegoyhen, of Reno; granddaughter Annie Etchegoyhen, of San Francisco; grandson Joshua Etchegoyhen of Spokane, Wash.; and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
