William Richard Buhler, 76, a Carson City-Stateline resident for the past four years died July 7, 2000, at St. Mary's Regional Center. He was born Sept. 2, 1923, in New York to Harry and Ellen Matthews Buhler.
He married Margie Cooney April 29, 1995, at South Lake Tahoe.
Before moving to this area, he lived in Fremont, Calif.
Mr. Buhler was a retired logistics technician with the aerospace industry. He enjoyed computers and was an avid bowler.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an aviation structural mechanic.
Among his survivors are his wife Margie of Carson City; sons Gary of San Jose, Calif. and Rich of Oregon; sister, Muriel Valeriotti of New York; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No service is scheduled at this time.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
