RENO - A 39-year-old Reno man is behind bars facing a murder charge for the stabbing death of another man early Tuesday.

Police responded to the area of Poplar Lane and Valley Road around 1 a.m. on a report of an injured man.

They found Justine Wade Moore laying in a gutter with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to Washoe Medical Center, where he died.

Moore, 32, had been visiting James Abbie Jr. at a nearby apartment when the two argued over a comment Moore made concerning Abbie's girlfriend, police said. Abbie allegedly then stabbed Moore in the chest.

Moore left the residence and managed to walk a short distance before collapsing.

Abbie was arrested without incident. A knife and other evidence was recovered from his apartment, according to detectives.
