Retired Public Employees Association to meet Oct. 16

Retired Public Employees Association of California, Silver and Gold Chapter No. 95, will meet at 11:30 a.m., Oct. 16 at Grandma Hattie's, 2811 S. Carson St.

Guest speakers will be Terry Stricker and David Love from Nevada Division of Aging, who will distribute brochures and answer questions regarding available health care and financial help for the aging, and Wanda Ulman from the Woodmark at Summit Ridge.

Certificates of Appreciation will be given and new officers for the coming year will be installed.

All retirees who receive their pension or health benefits from the California Public Employees Retirement System, (CalPERS), State, Public Agency and Classified School Employees, are invited to attend this meeting.
