Breakfast for books fund-raiser set for Saturday at Carson Library

The Kiwanis of Carson City and the Carson City Library present their annual Breakfast for Books fund-raiser from 7-11 a.m. Saturday on the lawn of the Carson City Library, 900 N. Roop St.

The public is welcome to enjoy breakfast, be entertained with music by Chris Bayer and stories by Native American storyteller Tom McCormack, and join friends and neighbors in supporting the Carson City Library's children's collection.

Breakfast is $4 for adults, $3 children younger than 12 or seniors 60 and older, or feed the whole family for $12. Tickets will be available that morning or in advance by calling 883-3280, 883-7341 or 887-2244.

Those interested in becoming a Kiwanian are invited to their annual new members pool party on July 29. Call Ron Bowman at 883-7341.
