Brief: Ballroom dance classes offered

The ballroom dance band Reminisce will be playing for the end of the month dance from 9 p.m. to midnight Feb. 25 at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson St. Cost is $5 per person.

The band will play ballroom dances, including swing, foxtrot, Latin, waltz, polka and western. Call Earl Case at 882-EARL or the Children's Museum at 884-2226.

Each Friday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. ballroom dance lessons are held at the museum. The fox trot is taught during the month of February. Lessons are $8 per person, instructors are Katya Dach and Earl Case.
