Western Nevada Community College is offering classes for those who have been away from school for some time:
How to Succeed in College, section C01, call No. 10172, meets Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings; section C02, call No. 10130, meets Monday and Wednesday mornings, Carson City. The class is also offered at WNCC Douglas Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-1:45 p.m., call No. 12191.
For those who want to get out of a job rut or who are unsure what type of career to pursue, Career Choices and Changes, CPD 123, call No. 10191 teaches students how to look for a career that suits them. The two-credit, university transfer class meets 4:30-5:20 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A drop-in child care service is available for students with children ages 3-6 at the Child Development Center on the Carson campus. The cost is $2 per child per hour for WNCC students.
