Carson City Airport will have an informal military vehicle show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Jeeps, command vehicles and other military vehicles will be on display at the airport as will some World War II-era military aircraft.

"If you want to see some old World War II vehicles and some airplanes, come to the airport," Airport Manager Yvon Weaver said. "There will be more than just a few airplanes on the ramp."

Airport operator and mayoral candidate Neil Weaver decided to put on an informal military vehicle show after the annual air show was cancelled because there was not enough parking for the popular event.
