Coyote Chase is June 17

The 14th annual Coyote Chase 5K and 10K runs, and a 2-mile walk, will be held June 17 in Smith Valley.

The run/walk takes place at 8:30 a.m. at Smith Valley High School on Day Lane, off Highway 208. The event is sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi.

Trophies will be given to the top three finishers in each division of the 5K and 10K walks for the women and men, plus the first finisher in the 2-mile walk. Ribbons will be presented to the first three finishers in each age group in the 5K and 10K runs.

All registered runners and walkers will receive a pancake breakfast and the first 200 registrants will receive a T-shirt. The breakfast is also available to the public, hosted by Smith Valley Youth Baseball.
