Nevada's Frankie Sue Del Papa says the National Association of Attorneys General should urge businesses nationwide to voluntarily reduce young people's access to violent or sexually explicit video games, videos and DVD movies.
She plans to make the proposals at the NAG spring meeting in Washington D.C. this week.
The association will meet all week to discuss everything from the Internet and Society to the battle against teen smoking, violence against women and the presidential campaign.
She said her resolutions urge voluntary efforts by the entertainment media to reduce presentation, advertisement and marketing of products with violence and sexual content to children.
