The Genoa Area Antique Show and Sale will be held this weekend at the historic Town Hall in downtown Genoa. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $1.
The show will feature dealers from Northern Nevada and California. Prices will range to high for the rare antiques to lower for all sorts of memorabilia and collectibles. Furniture including Victorian in oak, walnut and mahogany, primitive pine and painted will be available, as well as reasonably priced paper items, rare books, vintage clothing, jewelry, glassware, pottery, dolls, toys, rugs, kitchen primitives and more will be shown.
An appraisal clinic will be offered for $5 per item for those wanting to know approximate values on their personal treasures.
The Genoa Sesquicentennial Committee is co-sponsor of the event and will sell food and beverages, including lunch items, beer, wine and soda.Also on sale will be special Genoa Sesquicentennial collector items and ordrs will be taken for the Genoa Call 782-4951 or 782-2893.
