Indian Hills district wants closed meeting

Indian Hills General Improvement District trustees had a closed session meeting scheduled for April 19. This meeting was canceled because three of the trustees did not like the way the agenda was written by the district's lawyer.

The residents have not paid the lawyer for his time in writing this agenda according to Nevada law and his time to attend a "non-meeting," only to have this closed session postponed for two weeks when the residents will pay again for these services on May 3.

What is it that these three trustees wish to discuss in private and don't want the residents to know about? Why is the district lawyer having so much trouble keeping the district out of legal trouble?

Folks, don't miss the next chapter meeting on April 26 at 7 p.m. Watch your elected board of trustees inaction (no, I didn't misspell inaction).
