In reading the mailbox article from Bob Brummer of Carson City on June 4, I feel compelled to write.
I take offense to his statement that the Republican party "was hijacked by pro-choice feminists and political pragmatists, the Republican party now thinks it can duck the issue."
I was a the Republican convention as a delegate. I am opposed to abortion, but I felt that this is a personal, private, moral issue and should not be a part of the political platform. I voted as an individual, and was not swayed by any "group" at the convention. We are still in America where the individual vote counts and the majority rules!
