In your editorial "Our View" on Wednesday, you talked about the pedestrian stings versus placing warning signs at the entrances to Carson City. You reasoned that if all motorists see the signs upon entering the
city that they would be aware that Carson City requires they yield the right of way to pedestrians, and future sting operations wouldn't be required.
Well, this would probably work about as well as the speed limit signs currently posted which are plentiful and easily seen throughout the city, and everyone knows that they stop the speeding motorists. The best way to reach the scofflaws is to hit them in their wallet/purse!
