Meeting preparation for a new program

In preparation for the commencement of a new AARP program, local Chapter No. 723 will present Jeanine Varner of Las Vegas, past state coordinator for the AARP widowed persons services. The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.

This service is available to all persons in Northern Nevada.

This meeting will be helpful to those in need as well as to people interested in counseling others. Refreshments will be available after the meeting.
