A berth in the Big West Conference men's basketball tournament will be on the line tonight when Nevada hosts Idaho in the final regular season game for both sides.
Nevada (5-10, 7-19) needs to win the game - set for a 7:05 p.m. tipoff at Lawlor Events Center - to climb into a tie for third or fourth place in the East Division and secure a berth in the tournament next week.
Idaho (6-9, 12-15) is currently tied with Boise State for third.
Tonight will also mark a homecoming for 1999 Galena High graduate Lance Buoncristiani, who is expected to play for Idaho tonight.
The freshman point guard underwent surgery for appendicitis on Feb. 21, but he returned to practice this past Tuesday and played 19 minutes on Thursday night in Idaho's 73-52 loss to East Division leader Utah State.
Nevada is coming off a 62-59 triumph Thursday night at home against Boise State.
