Donald O. Woodhall, 84, a Dayton resident for the past two years, died Feb. 6, 2000, at his residence. He was born Jan, 24, 1916, in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., to Dewey and Eva Hooper Woodhall.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Roseville, Calif.
Mr. Woodhall was a quality control inspector for the government. He was a member of the Salvation Army. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie; brothers Jack, Angus and Ben; and granddaughter, Kelly Smith.
Among his survivors are his daughter, Anne Moser, and son, Donald, both of Dayton and brother, Millard, of Thompsonville, Mich.; sisters, Isabel Brown of Sault Sainte Marie, Pat Hamm, of Miami, Fla. and Mary Stearns, of Odessa, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.
