Dorothy M. Bair, 88, a Carson City resident since 1991, died June 24, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. No services are scheduled.
Mrs. Bair was born Dec. 25, 1911 in Detroit to Clarence Edward Mann and Mary Emma Rumsey Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Watt B. Bair in 1991, and sister Marjorie Cox in 1999.
Prior to living in Carson City, she resided in Mesa, Ariz.
Mrs. Bair was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine.
She was of the Episcopal faith and enjoyed square dancing.
Among her survivors are her son Garth M. Bryce of Rosamond, Calif.; daughters Carol A. Farmer of Carson City and Beverly Z. Mark of La Verne, Calif., eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
