A memorial service for Erie "Tom" Hedgcoth Jr., 51, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, will be at 1 p.m. today at Silver Hills Community Church.
Mr. Hedgcoth died April 4, 2000, at his home. He was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Santa Maria, Calif., to Erie Sr. and Lela Kuykendall Hedgcoth.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.
Mr. Hedgcoth was assistant manager at Kmart where he worked for 21 years. He was a Protestant.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lela.
Among his survivors are his wife Deborah of Carson City; daughters Jennifer Barton of Mississippi, Mary Hapgood and Tracie Kruse, both of Carson City; sons Erik Hedgcoth and Kenneth Kruse, both of Carson City; two grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be private.
Cremation will be at Sierra Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 6225 Neil Road Ste. 201, Reno 89502.
Walton's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
