Obituary: Frances Elinor Kidman

A funeral for Frances Elinor Kidman, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 26 years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's.

Mrs. Kidman died June 12, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born July 7, 1921, in Chatfield, Minn., to Otto and Myra Evans Bernard.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Lake View Terrace, Calif.

Mrs. Kidman was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marvin.

Among her survivors are her sons, Gary M. of Incline Village, Richard V. of Pine Grove, Calif. and Greg of Canyon Country, Calif.; daughter, Vicki Martinez of Newcastle, Calif.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Private inurnment will be at Genoa Cemetery.
