A graveside service with full military honors for Frederick William Page, 79, a Pahrump resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Garden Cemetery in Gardnerville. The War Veterans Memorial Association of Western Nevada will officiate.
Mr. Page died Feb. 28, 2000, in Mesa, Ariz. He was born Oct. 19, 1920, in Portadown, Ireland.
Mr. Page worked as a mechanic at Nellis Air Force Base. He was a long-time member of Fort Churchill Post 2288 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Silver Springs.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife, Virginia; son, Wayne and wife Ann; sisters, Sarah Kivela, Patricia Peterson and Esther Peterson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of the service.
