A memorial service for John B. Hartman, 38, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at U.C. Davis in the Putah Creek Lodge.
Mr. Hartman died Jan. 30, 2000, in the crash of Kenya Airways Flight 431 off the Ivory Coast in Africa.
He received a Ph.D at the University of California, Davis.
Among his survivors are his wife, Dr. Miriam Kaplan; daughter, Clara; son, Noah and parents, John and Sandy Hartman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the John B. Hartman Memorial Fund, in care of V. Rose, 1440 Bluethroat Drive, Turlock, Calif. 85382.
