Obituary: LeRoy Edward Thomas

A funeral for LeRoy Edward Thomas, 71, a South Lake Tahoe resident for the past seven years, will be at 2 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Thomas died Dec. 28, 1999 in Genoa. He was born Nov. 16, 1928 in South Dakota to LeRoy and Anna C. Pochop Thomas.

Before moving to South Lake Tahoe, he lived in San Francisco.

Mr. Thomas was president of the Nelson, Adams Co., a company that sells chalk boards and bulletin boards.

Among his survivors are his son, Brian, of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Lyle, of Coleridge, Neb., and Leonard, of Arnold, Calif.; sisters, Wilma Korthas, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Dorothy Pfund, of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Burial will be at the Genoa Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
