Obituary: Margaret Huetig

A private family memorial service for Margaret Huetig, 70, a Carson City resident for the past 24 years, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huetig died Feb. 27, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1927, in West Helena, Ark., to James and Leone Burgess Britton.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Aloha, Ore.

Mrs. Huetig was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, reading, crocheting and country music. She was a talented artist and musician and loved to dance.

Among her survivors are her husband, William of Carson City; son, Gregory Roush; daughters, Mary Huetig of Nevada, Cheryl Smith and Susan Campbill, both of Utah; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
