Marie Rita Ann (Menard) McGaw, 78, a Carson City resident, died Jan. 16, 2000, at her residence. She was born July 9, 1921, in Canada to Arcade Menard.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Glendale, Calif.
Mrs. McGaw was a licensed vocational nurse.
Among her survivors are her daughter Carol Gardner of Minden; brother Aurele Menard of Vancouver, B.C., Canada; sister Cleo Harrington, of Kaneohe, Hawaii; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
