A funeral for Mary C. Wilson, 77, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson died Nov. 7, 1999, at her residence. She was born June 15, 1922, in Fairfield, Ill., to John and Mabel Young Carter.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Fremont, Calif.
Mrs. Wilson was a retired secretary for the automotive industry. She was very involved with Special Olympics and active with the Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Carson City Rhythm Rockers vocal group and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved to read.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, son, Mark and daughter, Gay.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Lisa Pollender, of Carson City; grandchildren, Brian Harris, Michelle Harris and Shari Hollingsworth, and great-grandsons, Brady Harris, and George and Scott Hollingsworth, all of Carson City.
Entombment will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
