A funeral for Milton Claude Scott, 86, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's.
Mr. Scott died May 2, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born July 6, 1913, in Missouri.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Redondo Beach, Calif.
Mr. Scott was a retired roofer with the construction industry. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Octavia Aug. 27, 1990, son Robert in 1938 and two grandchildren.
Among his survivors are his sons, Paul of Texas, Sammy of Reno and Billy, Jerry, Richard, Woody and Marshall, all of Carson City; daughters, Grace Jones of San Jose, Calif. and Tisha Volk and Gail Jaffe, both of Carson City; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be a Lone Mountain Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
