Obituary: Mona Rae Ellertson

A memorial service for Mona Rae Ellertson, 69, a Carson City resident for the past year, will be from 2-4 p.m. Monday at Mealy-Koenig Funeral Home in Waterford, Wis.

Mrs. Ellertson died Feb. 17, 2000, at her residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Edward and Elsie Carlson Scherbarth.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Franksville, Wis.

Mrs. Ellertson was a door greeter at Kmart. She enjoyed reading and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Among her survivors are her sons, Brian, of Rochester, Wis., Harold Jr., of Elkhorn, Wis. and Jeff, Bill and Jim, all of Waterford; daughters, Barb Waldron, of Franksville, Judy Schmit, of Union Grove, Wis., Linda Butke, of Surprise, Ariz. and Merrie Clark, of Elkhorn; sisters, Dawn Zajichek, of New Berlin, Wis., Lois Ludowese, of Franklin, Wis., Lila Scherbarth, of Hales Corners, Wis. and Faye Robinson, of Pensacola, Fla. and 17 grandchildren.

Cremation will be a FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
