Obituary: Robin Gale Brand

A memorial service for Robin Gale Brand, 42, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Ms. Brand died May 20, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1957, in New York to Robert and Emma Jean Mitchell.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in New York.

Ms. Brand worked for the Department of Transportation for many years.

Among her survivors are her lifetime partner, Debra Brand of Carson City; stepmother, Rosemary Brand of New York; brother and wife, Robert and Colleen Brand of New York; sister and husband, Sandy and Gary McQueary of Carson City; nieces, Jennifer and Samantha Brand of New York and Kimberley Radai of Carson City and many friends.
