A memorial service for Steven Zwirtz, 39, a Dayton resident for the past 28 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Zwirtz died Oct. 31, 1999, at his residence. He was born May 9, 1960, in San Rafael, Calif., to Karen Kay Zwirtz.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Loma Verde, Calif.
Mr. Zwirtz was employed by Sierra Manufacturing in Carson City. He followed NASCAR racing and liked to fish, hunt and do woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Maxine Zwirtz.
Among his survivors are his wife, Cynthia, son, Adam;, daughter, Kristin, and parents, Jeb Riley and Karen Kay Johnson, all of Dayton; brother, Russell, of Round Rock, Texas; sisters, Lorri of Arlington, Texas, and Angela, of California; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
