A memorial service for Victor W. Clyde, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 67 years, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley with the Elks Lodge of Carson City officiating.
Mr. Clyde died Nov. 23, 1999, at Carson Health Care Center. He was born Nov. 19, 1910, in Ashley, N.D., to Elbert T. and Elma Cottrell Clyde.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in North Dakota.
Mr. Clyde was a maintenance engineer for the State of Nevada Highway Department for 44 years. He was a member of the Eagles of Carson City and BPOE.
Among his survivors are his sons, Thomas, of Carson City and Don, of South Dakota; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
