A seminar on teaching and managing students with behavior problems is being offered Friday from 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Presented by Sean Moore and Associates of Carson City and First Step of Nevada, the seminar for both teachers and parents will feature Dr. Geoff Colvin, a nationally known speaker on adolescent behavior.
Colvin is a research associate at the University of Oregon and a special services supervisors in the Betelle School District in Oregon. He has worked with school districts throughout the country on managing children with problem behavior.
The seminar costs $65 per person.
