A small earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale, rumbled through Carson Country on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, Calif.
The earthquake occurred at 2:11 p.m. and was centered three miles west southwest of Carson City. No damages or injuries were reported.
A USGS report said the quake was was felt through Carson City, the Washoe Valley, as well as Kings Beach and South Lake Tahoe.
