A thunderstorm that dropped marble-sized hail knocked out power along the Dayton corridor Saturday evening.
The power went out during the second of two storms that dumped hail east of Carson City.
Karl Walquist, a spokesman for Sierra Pacific Power Co., said he was still waiting on a customer count at 9 p.m.
"We started receiving calls at about 6:30 p.m.," he said. Power came on for Dayton at about 8:50 p.m.
A dispatcher said lightning hit a power pole, taking down the line and a transformer.
Walquist said power remained out to some customers near Dayton Valley Golf Course after the rest came on.
"Crews are out there and they'll stay out there until everyone is on," he said.
