The University Singers and Opera Theatre of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will perform Monday in Carson City.
Choral masterworks by J.S. Bach, Giovanni Pierluigi de Palestrina, Leonard Bernstein and David Conte will be presented by the choir under the direction of David B. Weiller, beginning at 7 p.m. at Carson High School.
The opera theatre, directed by Mark Thomsen, will perform scenes from Gaetano Donizetti's comic opera, "The Elixir of Love."
The concert at Carson High is free and open to the public.
