WNCC offers kids' art classes

The Community Services Division of Western Nevada Community College is offering a number of fun classes for children this spring. Budding artists will enjoy Fun Art Projects For Kids. Youngsters will enjoy cutting, pasting and creating with colors and textures. Class meets Wednesdays, Jan. 19 through Feb. 23, 4:30-6 p.m. in the Cedar Building of WNCC. The cost is $75, which includes supplies.

Learn the art of beautiful handwriting in Calligraphy A to Z. This class is combined with the adult section and is for students age 8 and older. Class meets Wednesdays 7-8:30 p.m., Jan. 19 through Feb. 23 in the Cedar Building. Cost is $75.
