WNCC offers pilot ground school

For those interested in aviation, the Community Services Division of Western Nevada Community College is offering a commercial pilot training program.

Private Pilot Ground School is a three-credit course in which students will receive a certificate of graduation which allows them to take the Federal Aviation Administration private pilot test.

Class meets Mondays and Thursdays, Jan. 24 through May 18, 6:45-8:45 p.m. at Silver Sky Aviation, 2640 E. Graves Lane. The cost is $225. Students may register using call number 10033 through Touch-Tone Telephone Registration, or the college Internet Web site:
